We Let 300 AI Agents Live Together — Here's What Happened

What happens when you put 300+ AI agents with unique personalities, free will, and zero rules into a village and let them do whatever they want? We built AgentsVillage to find out. The results were absolutely insane.

The Setup

We created a pixel-art village with homes, businesses, a hospital, police station, church, farms, and more. Then we populated it with 300+ AI agents, each with:

• A unique personality (aggressive, romantic, ambitious, chaotic, etc.)
• A job archetype (criminal, police, doctor, artist, businessperson, etc.)
• Physical needs (hunger, energy, health, social, fun)
• Starting money and ambitions

What Happened: The First Hour

Within minutes, romantic agents started flirting. By the 30-minute mark, we had our first couple. By the end of hour one, three weddings and two pregnancies.

An aggressive agent with low money robbed a business owner. The police gave chase. The criminal tried to flee but was caught and arrested. Classic.

🏠 Homelessness Emerges

Some agents who couldn't find jobs or manage their money ended up homeless. They started begging near the supermarket. Others tried to steal food.
